The Father Heart of God
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
People of Bible lands gave great respect and reverence to fathers. Father means “First” or “Originator of something.” Hence father was a designation of the highest honor. Father also means “One who transmits his nature to his children and one who is in authority.” Hence we see in Matthew 23:9, Jesus saying that we have only one Father in Heaven and warns against using that name as titles for man. In John 8:39 by saying Abraham is our father, Israel rejected the fatherhood of God and chose the fatherhood of man and hence in Luke 3:8, we see Jesus admonishing them and asking them to repent. Only God is worthy of that title ‘Father’ as he is the supreme authority, originator of everything that exists – living and non-living.
Though man sinned and rejected God and his instructions, Jesus shows us the other side of God , that He is our Father when He taught His disciples to pray in Matthew 6:9,” In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.” and in John3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” . For God so loved the world.. who is the world? One that bears the image and likeness of Him. He did not send his Son to redeem the devil and his demons, though they all also sinned but to us who bear his nature: whom He created so wonderfully and fearfully.” I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made Psalms 139:14.
He prepared a gateway by which man could not only communicate with God but also find entry into the eternal abode of God. A platform where man could exchange his sin for forgiveness, his curse for blessing, his poverty for God’s riches, his sorrow for joy, his bondage for freedom, his weakness for power.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6.

When God wanted to bring Salvation into this world, He spoke to Mary.
When God wanted to preach to Cornelius , He spoke to Peter.
