Evangelism
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matthew 28:19, 20
Evangelism
The term “Evangelism” is derived from the Greek word “euangelion”. It means “gospel” or “good news”. Evangelism is the act of spreading the gospel with the purpose of sharing the message of Jesus Christ. It involves a deep commitment to Lord Jesus and a devotion to share your belief with others so that they feel inspired to take action. In Evangelism, the main goal is to lead others toward the path of salvation which is through faith in Jesus. It is the responsibility of the believers to share their faith with others. The main message and teachings surround the death, burial, and resurrection of Lord Jesus, the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.
The overall plan of evangelism is to conduct evangelistic training, pray, rely on the Holy Spirit, go and witness, and leave the results to God.
